
Pakistan launched the second phase of its coronavirus vaccination campaign on Wednesday, allowing people over 60 to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. An elderly man was vaccinated against COVID-19 at the Red Crescent Coronavirus Care Hospital in Rawalpindi.
If you want your parents or grandparents to participate in the coronavirus vaccination program. You can follow these simple steps to vaccinate them:
For those who do not have an Internet connection: they can send a 13-digit National Computer Identity Card (CNIC) (if they are over 60) (or their relatives’ card) without spaces or hyphens to 1166.
Furthermore, users with Internet connection: You can register yourself (or your family member) by visiting the NIMS website. Where you will see a registration screen where you can enter your personal data. Make sure to provide a valid phone number.
Additionally, the government will share the vaccination center and vaccination date on the registered phone number.

After receiving the registration details on the phone number provided. Please visit the nearest vaccination center and get the first dose of vaccine.
In addition to citizens over 60 years old, the government also invites medical staff to vaccinated against the coronavirus.
Moreover, health workers registered with the government can go to any vaccination center for vaccination.
On the other hand, if you are a healthcare worker and have not yet registered, please visit the NIMS website (click this link) and register to get the vaccine.
After registration, you can check the registration status by sending the CNIC number to 1166 after 24 hours.
